181-203

If you could rewrite something and change it in the book what would it be?
I would want to change how Nikki acts around her kids and how she treats them.

After Nikki was let out of jail she kept stalking Murdoch's house and when Julie, Murdoch's neighbor was in a car accident caused by Nikki, Nikki was put in jail again. When Nikki was put in jail the second time Ben, Callie and Matthew's father, took part custody of all 3 of the kids and Aunt Bobbie also has part custody of them. A week before Nikki was to get out of jail Callie and Emmy went to go live with Ben and Matthew stayed and lived with Aunt Bobbie. Nikki had visitation rights every month to see all 3 kids but Matthew and Callie could refuse to see their mother, Emmy was too small so she couldn't choose.

100-180

Nikki kept following Murdoch and he recorded everytime she called and everytime he saw her or her car when he was driving. One time when she got too close the cops came and took her to jail for 2 days. While Nikki was in jail it was over Christmas time so Matthew, Callie and Emmy stayed with their Aunt Bobbie. Then Matthew and Callie's father, Ben, brought over a christmas tree and decorations. Then Nikki came home form jail the next day.
3 questions I would like to have answered is
1. Why was Nikki obsessing over Murdoch?
2. Why doesn't Nikki just give her kids up?
3. Who is emmy's father?

The Rules of Survival 1-50

Give a physical description as well as a description of each character's personality. Does the author use a direct or indirect methods of revealing the character?
There are 3 main characters in my book. One of the first main characters is Matthew and he is the one narrating the story from his point of view. Matthew has a good personality, he knows when to leave bad things alone and how to care for his 2 little sisters. Another main character is Murdoch. He is a guy who has a nice personality and he is good with kids, even though he doesn't have any of his own. The last main character is Emmy. Emmy was taken away from her brother and sister when she was little and Matthew wrote a letter to her to explain how their life was when they were little.
The author uses an indirect method of revealing her characters by not telling what their personality is.
The author of The Rules f Survival is Nancy Werlin

The Rules of Survival

I am reading a book called The Rules of Survival. I have only started the book but I have read and it is about these 3 children and their mom is never home anymore and their dad is never around. The 2 oldest kids go to the store and this other kid is there with his dad and he got in trouble and the dad was about to hit the kid but another guy stepped in and he told the father to hit him instead of the kid.
